"Working for His People No.2 "

Oil on Beauregard Linen (Holland)
59 x 81 cm.  (23.2" x 31.8")

The King has spent his life traveling around every part of Thailand studying the lives of His people to decide how he can best help them. He often takes photographs or makes sketches of a village and its people or a irrigation or agricultural project that needs to be built.

In this oil painting, I used a palette knife and took the colors straight from the tube to create the sense of concentration and work that His Majesty’s uses when studying the lives of His People. He often works in the heat in uncomfortable conditions
which I’ve shown in this painting.
