I made this pastel drawing of the Queen to show her natural beauty. The patels brings out her feminine charm as she holds the rose
named after her. She is wearing a dress of mudmee silk, an industry that she revived to help support poor weavers
in the northeast of the country. I used Chinese brushes to apply the pastel colors as well as my fingers to soften the background.
