Queen Sirikit has accompanied The King on many of His missions into the Thai countryside. Their marriage has been one of shared
interests in the welfare of the Thai people. During the peroid of political and social unrest in Thailand around thirty tears ago,
The Queen traveled by His Majesty's side to areas where fighting was common in villages in many regions of the country.
Her presence gave villagers the assurance that they were loved by the Royal family. A snapshot taken by a soldier provided me
with this picture of the Queen in a simple military uniform.
